Stamp Duty Calculator
for England and Northern Ireland

In England and Northern Ireland Stamp Duty Land Tax is charged on property purchases. Our calculator widget calculates the amount of SDLT due on a residential freehold property. It includes calculations for replacing your main residence, are a first time buyer or buying a second home for yourself or buy-to-let. It also includes an option to add the non-UK resident surcharge.

Adding this widget to your website requires a few lines of code and you can customise the labels via your account. You can set the initial property price as an attribute in the code and it will calculate the tax automatically without the user having to enter the property price.

The calculator is currently built using the latest residential property rates provided here as of 23rd September 2022.

Wales Land Transaction Tax Calculator

Wales has an equivalent tax to SDLT called Land Transaction Tax or LTT. Our calculator allows your visitors to calculate the amount of LTT due on a residential freehold property. It includes calculations for replacing your main residence and the higher residential tax rate if buying a second home or for buy-to-let.

Adding this widget to your website requires a few lines of code and you can customise the labels via your account. You can set the initial property price as an attribute in the code and it will calculate the tax automatically without the user having to enter the property price.

The calculator is currently built using the latest residential property rates provided here as of 10th October 2022.

Scotland Land and Building Transaction Tax Calculator

Scotland has an equivalent tax to SDLT called Land and Building Transaction Tax or LBTT. Our calculator allows your visitors to calculate the amount of LBTT due on a residential freehold property. It includes calculations for replacing your main residence or are a first time buyer and applying the additional dwelling supplement if buying a second home or buy-to-let.

Our mortgage repayments calculator widget allows your visitors to calculate what their monthly repayment will be. They can tweak the property price, deposit amount or percentage, term of the mortgage, mortgage type and interest rate to work out what their monthly repayment will be and how much you’ll pay in interest over the term.

At a glance show up to 10 of the nearest primary and secondary schools to a latitude and longitude point location. English schools also show the current Ofsted rating.
